Well, Patrick, in addition to what I said over on Consortium, I want to focus on something that I think in the long run will be far more critical. I said this over on RT:

"Personally, I think what happened is that this same military top crew as was present for Donnie Murdo and slow walked his order to withdraw from Syria in the hopes that he would be replaced and the order rescinded tried the same stunt again. Donnie Murdo was replaced and the order was rescinded. But this time the Taliban could care less about our top brass. They've been beating our a-- for 20 years. The Washington regime was presented with a fait accompli and we could either get out or get shot up. The equipment, manpower, and organization simply wasn't present because the top generals had no real intention of obeying Biden's order in the first place. And then it was too late......"

And that's a problem. That's how the Praetorian Guard got their power. You may want to consult your Gibbon to fill in any gaps in your memory.

A mystery --- 170 dead Afghans and 13 US soldiers...

Just how a suicide bomber, in densely packed crowd, can kill 183 people?

It is the most astute question, Boris. It makes no sense. And goes to my point here: They learn nothing, cavalierly lying all the way down the runway. You saw the Beeb segment reporting the casualties were from US and UK soldiers firing into the crowd in a panic. Be sure ot have a look before the piece disappears. It will.
